Derby Poker is a new card game based loosely on the classic game of video poker. Derby Poker combines skills of strategy, adaptation, memory and nimble fingers into an all new gaming experience!
You play in rounds of 10, 25 or 50 hands. Each round presents you with cards flying across the game board. You only have a few seconds to draw the best hand before the timer runs out. You have to think quickly and be willing to adapt your hands to what cards appear on the board. The better the hand, the greater the winnings.
You already know the basic rules. Hands include: Jacks or Better, 2-Pair, 3-of-a-Kind, Full House, Straights, 4-of-a-Kinds, 5-of-a-kinds and Royal Straights. In addition, a new hand is introduced called 5-Twins.
Advanced scoring is achieved by several challenging twists in the rules. Derby Poker "recommends" certain kinds of hands where, if drawn, will reward you with big winnings!
In addition to drawing cards, special tokens appear to enhance your score including: 2x, 3x, 4x and 5x multipliers which multiply your score. The Flush Token, converts any hand into a flush hand. Finally, the Timer Tokens extends game time.
Another feature is the "Treasure Hand" where you find the random hand that will reward you with progressively larger pots.
